Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the ongoing, full-time position of French Teacher commencing in January 2024 and based at our Cranbourne Campus.

We welcome applications from individuals who are passionate about teaching and have the ability to provide an engaging program to the students using contemporary teaching methods.

Our ideal candidate:

  • Has the experience, and the qualifications to teach French at Years 7-12
  • Is able to teach a second method to French.
  • Has an understanding of the Victorian Curriculum and different teaching methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Is competent in digital technologies.
  • VIT registration is essential.

The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children and will hold current Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration.

2024 – English Teacher Position Description

Instrumental Music Teachers

St Peter’s College is a Catholic Co-educational Secondary College in Melbourne’s south-east region that has a proud history of fostering the educational and spiritual development of its students. St Peter’s College offers a rich and relevant curriculum in a modern learning environment which provides every student the opportunity to reach their full potential.

For the commencement of the 2024 school year, and in an exciting development for our school, St Peter’s College is introducing an Instrumental Music Program, offering Instrumental Music Teaching (IMT) positions for the following instruments:

  • Voice
  • Piano
  • Guitar
  • Bass
  • Percussion

As an IMT you will be part of the music staff, delivering private lessons through the school day and you may be required to work across both Campuses of the College.

Our ideal candidate:
The role and function of the IMT is to plan and deliver engaging and considered individual instrumental music lessons to students. Ideally the successful candidate will meet the following criteria:

  • Tertiary Music qualification
  • Experienced and skilled musician
  • Able to inspire young people to find their passion in Music.
  • Experience teaching within a school music program.
  • Experience with students across all ages and skill levels
  • Experience conducting ensembles / preparing music students for musical performances.
  • VIT Registration or Working with Children Check.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Competent in digital technologies.
  • Is willing to support the Catholic ethos of St Peter’s College, and to support music staff with Masses and liturgical celebrations when required.
