Enrolment Process

Application

Parents/guardians should complete and submit an online Enrolment Application by the advertised deadline, with required documentation and a non-refundable application fee to place their student on the list of applicants.

Interview

Those families that meet the enrolment criteria are invited to attend an enrolment interview with the Principal or member of the Senior Leadership Team. This interview is for students and parents and is a way for us to get to know you and the student, and for you to get to know us.

Acceptance of Offer

If we are able to offer your child a place at St. Peter’s College you will receive a Letter of Offer at the completion of the enrolment process.

Be prepared to complete the acceptance and pay your deposit by return mail or by dropping in the required paperwork and payment at College Reception.If you require an appointment with our Finance team regarding payment of fees please contact the College on 03 5990 7777 and ask to make an appointment to meet with our Finance Staff regarding fee payment.

If we are unable to offer your child a place at this time, you will be notified that your application is being held on our waiting list. Please advise the College if you do not want to remain on the waiting list for future student vacancies.

Year 8 – 12 Applications

Applications for Years 8 – 12 are dependent on availability and can be discussed with the College Register. Please contact the College Registrar at 03 5990 7777 or [email protected]


St. Peter’s College/DOSCEL Enrolment Criteria

1. Children baptised as Catholics and siblings of children already attending the school.
2. Catholic children who attend a Catholic school in the designated enrolment catchment area.
3. Catholic children from non-Catholic schools whose families are active members of the local parish.
4. Children who have been enrolled in a Catholic school in the designated enrolment catchment area.
5. Catholic children who attend a Catholic school but reside outside the designated enrolment catchment area.
6. Catholic children from non-Catholic schools who reside outside the designated enrolment catchment area, who:
(a) cannot obtain a place in their designated secondary school; or
(b) can obtain a place in their designated secondary school, but choose not to accept such a place.
7. Children who have been enrolled in a Catholic school outside the designated enrolment catchment area.
8. Catholic children who reside in other parishes and who could have gained enrolment in their parish secondary school.
9. Children from families who belong to any Orthodox Church.
10. Non-Catholic families seeking a Catholic education for their child/children.


St. Peter’s College Zoning Policy

Zoning Policy – Cranbourne Campus

Criteria to apply for enrolment: students residing West of the South Gippsland Highway and/or with siblings currently enrolled at St. Peter’s College Cranbourne Campus are eligible to apply for enrolment and will be admitted in accordance with the College Enrolment Policy.

Zoning Policy – Clyde North Campus

Criteria to apply for enrolment: students residing East of the South Gippsland Highway and/or with siblings currently enrolled at St. Peter’s College Clyde North Campus are eligible to apply for enrolment and will be admitted in accordance with the College Enrolment Policy.
