Year 9 Curriculum

Year 9

The Year 9 program at both campuses while delivered slightly differently, is designed with the following in mind:

  • Studetnts are enabled to take responsibility for tailoring their courses of study within clear and reasonbable guidelines;
  • There must be some choice of electives to enable our students to explore which studies are most relevant to their educational and vocational needs;
  • A series of minium requirements must be established to ensure our students do not deny themselves access to future learning opportunities;
  • Students must study one unit each Semester of either French or Japanese;
  • In addition to their core units, students must choose four semester elective units to study.
